3M is seeking a Dental Practice Specialist located in Phoenix - West Valley/Tucson, Arizona.
3M Oral Care, a market leader in dental products, is seeking an energetic and creative Dental Practice Specialist. Must achieve specific sales objectives by providing sales coverage within an assigned territory while developing relationships with distribution to drive products through the dental distribution channel. Candidate must be effective and influential with dental supply distribution, dentists and staff. Skill sets necessary are sales, group presentation, communication, technical ability, organization, computer aptitude, and time and territory management. The candidate must have a successful track record in exceeding expectations.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Ability to collaborate and share knowledge to benefits others
Ability to solve problems with a positive attitude in a competitive environment
Ability to negotiate and close sales opportunities by presenting 1:1 or to small groups using persuasive verbal and written communication skills
Ability to tailor sales presentation and messaging around customer verbal and non-verbal cues
Ability to consistently meet and exceed sales target while managing administrative responsibilities and CRM requirements
Ability to interact with a professional demeanor at all levels of an organization and established business relationships within the territory

Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution
Minimum of three (3) years of sales experience
Minimum of five (5) or more years dental industry sales experience
Experience with maintaining and growing a multi-million dollar territory with 250 or more accounts
Experience with selling through distribution channels
Health care industry related experience including dental manufacturers and distributors; dental labs; hygienists; dental assistants; pharmaceutical; medical device
Knowledge and understanding of the competitive landscape in health care products, prices and policies.
Knowledge and understanding of professional selling process and skills
Advanced Territory Management skills including analytics, strategic planning, prioritization, and tactical execution utilizing all available resources to maximize results.
Experienced with Microsoft Office application software, on-line sales support systems and Internet savvy research capabilities
Experience using Customer Relations Management (CRM) software (i.e. Siebel, Oracle, SAP CRM)
Experience with Lotus Notes and/or Outlook email software
Sales Territory: Phoenix – West Valley/Tucson, AZ
Travel: May include up to 25% domestic travel
Relocation: Is not authorized
